Intermittent Fasting – One HUGE Mistake People Make

Do you make this HUGE mistake when it comes to intermittent fasting?

Many people do and in my video today I wanted to talk about it.

Watch the video here:

What is Intermittent Fasting?

Intermittent fasting is when you fast for around 16 out of 24 hours and then have a smaller window to eat your meals in.

Now, there are certainly benefits to intermittent fasting. Paul and I have been practicing it for years ourselves and it feels great feeling light in the mornings.

Our ancestors never had access to a 24/7 supply of food like most of us do with supermarkets. So it would have been quite normal for them to eat less at times and even go through periods when food was not as abundant.

Intermittent fasting does help you to detox your body because your body has a longer length of time when it can clean and regenerate itself, instead of spending large amount of time and energy digesting food.

But there’s one big mistake that people can make when it comes to intermittent fasting which can NEGATE many of the benefits that you can get from doing it.

So what is it?

Good point, I’ve also noticed one meal a day just isn’t very easy when eating low fat high carb. 2 meals spaced about 6 hours apart still imf works well. Maybe different when sedentary.

Why is there so much conflicting information between hclf and hflc? There is science research backing up both claims. My mom has lost a lot of weight but still has very high blood glucose and she does low carb. She’s scared to eat more carbs bc she’s scared her glucose will her higher. She’s on medication and glucose is still high

I do IF mostly cause I do a lot of yoga in the morning, with all the bends and twists food just gets in the way. It can be used for both weight-loss and weight gain, that’s mostly related to total calories and to some extend fat%, I eat High carb whole plant foods though #WSLF !
