An Update On Our 2 1/2 Year Old Raw Food Toddler

Since our raw food toddler Elanie’s turned 2 1/2 years old, we though it would be a good time to post an update.

When people find out that you’re raising a child on a diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds — without any animal products included — they automatically assume that your child is going to be short, underweight, lack strength and be deficient in nutrients.

Is this really the case? Not at all!

So in this latest video we talk about our raw food toddler, her height, weight, as well as her overall development on this diet.

Are you also raising raw vegan or vegan children? What has your experience been? Post your comments below!

    Dear Julia and Paul,
Thank you for your video:) Could you please also specify if Elanie have been taking any supplements, for example B12?
    Kind Regards,
    Natalia.

Natalia, we give her a bit of B12 weekly and she also has tiny bits of kelp. Since she’s breastfed, she’ll receive a lot of nutrients via my breast milk. Vitamin D in a cold climate may also be necessary, but it’s best to test for it first.

Thankyou for your video, You’re an inspiration to so many people. I’ve recently decided to go raw vegan and am considering it for my children too! <3
Over the years Ive gained so much weight on a 'standard diet' but personally think the natural options are always the best, its what our bodies have been designed to eat, whole plant foods/ fruit 🙂
