What Raw Vegans Eat In Their Typical Day

What do raw vegans eat in their typical day? People often get really curious about it.

Now, first, let us say that there isn’t such a thing as a raw food diet. There are raw food diets.

Some of them can actually be really unhealthy for you, like a high fat raw diet.

However, if you base your meal plan upon primarily fruit, with plenty of greens, veggies and some nuts and seeds, then you will be eating a healthy raw food plan.

Here is a video from one of the festivals we were invited to talk that shows what raw foodists typically eat in a day:

What raw vegans eat in a day

High-fruit raw vegans receive the majority of their calories from fruit. This means that they will eat fruit for breakfast (with greens, if they desire), then have fruit or a green smoothie for lunch, and then have more fruit before a large dinner salad.

The types of fruit raw vegans eat will depend upon their personal preferences. Some like more water-rich fruit, like melons, grapes and mangoes, others prefer to focus on calorie-dense fruits like bananas and dates.

Here is a sample raw vegan meal plan:

Breakfast: a mono meal of 5 mangoes.

Lunch: a smoothie made out of 7 bananas, 3 peaches and 250g of lettuce.

Dinner: 1 litre of orange juice blended with 1 cup of blueberries. Then a salad of chopped cucumber, bell pepper and lettuce with a dressing of tomato, sun-dried tomato and 3 celery stalks.

So in today’s video I am going to show you what raw vegans typically eat. It’s a fun video with lots of inspiration and raw food meal ideas.
