How To Lose Weight With Hashimotos: 5 Actionable Steps To Help Balance Your Thyroid

If your thyroid gland is sluggish and not producing enough hormones, then you will almost certainly notice that you put on weight very easily and keep it on.

And if this isn’t bad enough, then you will almost certainly have to deal with some or even all of the other unwanted symptoms that go along with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s like brain fog, fatigue, and pain.

Hashimotos thyroid disease, if left untreated can permanently damage your thyroid and cause it to underproduce thyroid hormones, which is known as hypothyroidism.

Like any autoimmune disease, Hashimotos causes inflammation in the body and if left untreated it can lead to further health problems.

I know it might sound strange if you’re looking to lose weight with Hashimoto’s, but the first step is to not think about losing weight to start with.

Instead, your initial focus needs to be on regaining the health of your thyroid.

If you have hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s. let’s address that problem first.

The second action step is to understand what exactly you need to balance in your body.

This is where blood tests can be used to evaluate your hormonal balance and other important nutrient levels, which would remain unknown without testing.

Further to these first two action steps there are three more that I reveal in my video and which we use with our clients to help them achieve thyroid balance and healthy weight loss.
