14 years ago we embarked on a raw food diet because Yulia was struggling to balance her many health problems, which included hypothyroidism, PCOS, fertility issues, candida overgrowth, and liver issues.

We saw the raw food diet and in particular, the 80/10/10 raw food diet as key in helping Yulia and myself take our health to new levels.

Along the way, we learned many important lessons and in this video, we wanted to share the five biggest lessons we have learned over the past 14 years that we have been following vegan raw food and high-raw food diets.

The 1st lesson is that not all raw food diets are the same and good for your health. Thankfully we started from the 80/10/10 raw food diet, but there are other raw food diets out there that are waiting to trip up the unsuspecting health seeker.

The 2nd lesson we learned was about healing specific health issues and that just relying on following a raw food diet may not give you the great health outcomes that you are looking for.
