Love this!! Thank You. I am (currently) diabetic type 2 and instinctively I feel it is important (for me) to add some greens, not just non-sweet fruit greens. Leaf greens also! I would love to do all fruit only sweet and non-sweet, but my deepest feelings say, include the greens!!

Completely agree! I eat raw but because I am an athlete my percentage of protein and fats is slightly higher. All from eating lots of greens, peas and mushrooms. Check out some of my recipes here, if you want: https://www.instagram.com/vegan_dance_art_fusion/:)

hi..do u recommend adding some greens with fruits in the morning breakfast ? i hsve heard that greens are not supposed to be had in the morning diet with fruits. i am having only sweet and subacidic fruits in the morning. i love papaya and lettuce combo. is it fine ?

Zinc is the trickiest. Squash, pumpkin and sesame seeds are the best sources, but they’re high in phytic acid and need to be treated first (soak, sprout, ferment). I never used to eat nuts or seeds and felt great at first, but now I’m on a zinc supplement, and incorporating many different seeds into my salads.

Smitha Hemadri people make green smoothies in the morning all the time without any issues. The greens make the smoothie green?

Collard greens have the most calcium and are perfect in smoothies. They give me a huge boost of energy and it lasts for 4 hours, compared to an all-fruit smoothie giving me 40 minutes or so.

If you mix greens and fruit in the smoothie won’t it ferment and exacerbate my fungal issues?
